Back to the beginning in a way (the techniques used) and I'm very happy with today's piece:
The plan I cooked up to get work on the t-shirts done in the last few days worked to a degree. Here's four together, I didn't have the time to put them all up as I was going along. Still playing with texture and simple shapes. Took a risk on some colour :P
I started the project at almost the right time, after most of the summer's social activity had died down. Almost the right time, but not quite. I'll have next to no design time over the coming days, so my plan is to rope in visitors to provide content for the project! Turn it into entertainment. We'll see how that goes...
For now I've put up two, one for today and one for tomorrow, as shown.
Design for day three, a variation on yesterday's theme. Already available in my shops. Comment below :)
Pleased that I managed to get this one together today. Even more pleased that I had time left over to put it into repeat and upload it as a pattern on Spoonflower, Fashion Formula and Redbubble. I really like this style of minimal t-shirt and I've decided I will make a few more designs of this ilk, but long-term it's not going to be my main focus.
Here comes t-shirt design number one. I've spent a lot of today working out how to manage this project so I had to begin with something pretty straightforward to finish. Very happy with it though!
